This note especially is written for my Big Sky Circle of Kindred Spirits. Even if you are not a Montanan, I believe you'll gain a little inspiration from this Love Letter.
Who are your Yoga Buddies? The ones that have shared your path of evolution? When you first stepped onto the yoga mat, exploring your breath, your body and your beliefs, who was by your side? Who is supporting you now?
We all have the desire to belong, to feel connected, to be in community.
Having pulled up my final roots in Bozeman last year, I can attest to the loss of long-time friends as one of the dearest prices I've paid in seeking this new chapter. No regrets as I love the simplicity and warmth of my new homes in California and Costa Rica, however, relationships that span over 40 years of learning, growing, exploring, transforming and celebrating together are irreplaceable.
Thus, I look forward to returning to Bozeman next month as a visitor to enjoy the beauty of the territory and connect with as many of you as possible.
Still a teacher committed to the path of transformation, of course I've designed two opportunities to practice together again. Thanks to Turi Hetherington, my former student turned assistant turned colleague, for hosting these circles in her new Strength and Grace Studio. This is a lovely example of full circle evolution.
Due to the timeline of our lives, most of us are now considered Forest Dwellers, enjoying life at the age of 50+.
We've lived through many short stories, powerful chapters—and even a full novel or two.
So… what story are you writing now?
In Ayurveda, this is the sacred third act—where the doing softens, and the being begins. It’s a time to realign with your soul’s truth, to live in harmony with your values, and to share your hard-won gifts with the world.
So I ask you:
What practices connect you to your inner strength and wisdom?
What choices are you making to bring joy, creativity, and meaning into each day?
How are you navigating both the beauty and the challenges of aging?
When women gather in circle—breathing, moving, reflecting—we remember what really matters. We get inspired by one another’s stories. We soften into what’s true.
Let’s gift ourselves a soulful pause. A mini-retreat to come home to ourselves.
Because this time of life is the beginning of your most authentic expression yet.
I invite you to join me and a circle of like-minded women for a morning of embodied practice, soulful reflection, and sacred connection.
Full details of what we will share are outlined on my website.
