Spring is in the air—and with it comes the unmistakable urge to clear, cleanse, and begin again.
After moving to California with 4 trailers full of stuff over the course of two years, I now find myself releasing nearly half of it. I’m also letting go of commitments that no longer feel soulful and softening into relationships that truly nourish me.
There’s something deeply satisfying about making space—in our homes, in our bodies, in our minds, in our hearts. Space to breathe. Space to rest. Space for something new to take root, grow, and blossom.
Because the truth is, clutter—whether physical, emotional, or energetic—clouds our clarity. It keeps us from hearing our own wisdom.
One simple question I’ve been asking lately is:
“How can I keep is simple?”
Let that question guide your day.
Whether you’re choosing what to eat, what to wear, how to respond, or what to prioritize, pause and ask:
What is the simplest way?
Then Pause. Listen. Feel your answer.
Here are three gentle ways to invite more simplicity this week:
• Clear one drawer, one shelf, or one surface today. Let it breathe.
• Say no to something you’ve outgrown—and feel the freedom in that.
• Take five minutes of stillness and listen to what your heart is telling you.
This is the essence of Simple Soulful Living.
Not always easy—always rewarding.
